Ensure the Forehead Temperature cap is centred correctly and pushed onto the body of the thermometer firmly. There is a small button on the body of the thermometer that needs to be pushed down by the Forehead Temperature cap to put the device into forehead measuring mode. A forehead temperature indicator icon will now show on the display screen. Measure the forehead temperature as explained in the instructions. Measuring Ear temperature. Remove the Forehead Temperature cap and put a disposable probe cover onto the sensor probe. An ear temperature indicator icon will now show on the display screen.
