The Römer or “Roemer” glass from the Netherlands is a green glass (also called “Forest Glass”) vessel for drinking wine, beer, water, juice, and other beverages. It features an elongated bowl, a cylindrical stem decorated with glass raspberries, and a round base. This vessel was handcrafted by master artisans using high-quality glass, following the model of chalices used in the Middle Ages. It was commonly used in the Netherlands from the late 15th to 16th century, although its use was extended into later centuries. Slight variations in shape, height, and the arrangement of the decorations make each glass unique and special. Capacity: 30 cl. Dimensions: 15 x 9 cm. 0/5 (0 Reviews)
