By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of water is reduced by about 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable. Advice Using a washing machine is strongly discouraged to prevent altering the properties of the materials. – Waterproof your shoes using a product appropriate for the material. Repeat every 3 to 6 months. – Maintain the smooth leather of your shoes with a damp cloth and a specific spray product. Finish by applying a protective balm. Repeat every 3 months, or as needed based on the condition of your shoes. – Let dry in the open air, away from heat sources (such as sunlight or radiators), to prevent discoloration.
