Wide x 36 Yards Long, Black Polyimide Masking Tapes Black Polyimide Masking Tapes, also known as Polyimide Masking Tapes, are made from 1 mil Polyimide film with 1.5 mil silicone adhesive. They are reliable and durable with a unique combination of electrical, thermal, chemical and mechanical properties that withstand extreme temperature, vibration and other demanding environment. These polyimide tapes are used in a range of industries including aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, solar Photovoltaic and wind energy applications. They have a high dielectric strength. Silicon adhesive protection leaves no residue. Temperature range is -100 degrees F (-73 degrees C) to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Custom sizes are available upon request.
